Pre Season Goalkeeper Coaching

#1 Goalkeeping will be running pre season coaching for four weeks at Whitton Football Club.

The pre season goalkeeper coaching is designed to incorporate all aspects of goalkeeping with sessions involving lots of power and explosive work, handling, footwork, technique improvement and co-ordination.

The sessions will run from 7pm until 8pm on the below dates:

Wednesday 21st July
Wednesday 28th July
Wednesday 4th August
Wednesday 11th August

Age 13 to Adults

Cost: £22

Start dates & season schedule confirmed for the evening courses season 2010/2011

#1 Goalkeeping are pleased to announce the start dates and 2010/2011 season schedule for the evening courses.

1st sessions of the 2010/2011 season:

Claydon Blue Circle (6:30pm-7:30pm) – Tuesday 7th September 2010
Stowmarket F.C (7:00pm-8:00pm) – Tuesday 7th September 2010
Kesgrave Community Centre (7:00pm-8:00pm) – Wednesday 8th September 2010
Debenham Leisure Centre (6:30pm-7:30pm) – Thursday 9th September 2010

All evening sessions will run from the above dates until the Christmas holidays.

The last sessions of 2010 will be on the week commencing 13th December 2010.

#1 Goalkeepings first evening sessions of 2011 will start back on the week commencing 3rd January 2011.

The final evening sessions of the 2010/2011 season will be on the week commencing 25th April 2011.

The cost will continue to be £33 every six sessions.

#1 Goalkeeping are currently recruiting new part time goalkeeper coaches.

#1 Goalkeeping are seeking to appoint an experienced goalkeeper coach on a part-time basis to deliver coaching sessions aimed at helping goalkeepers improve and develop.

The post will involve planning, delivering and monitoring coaching sessions.

#1 Goalkeeping is a specialist goalkeeper coaching company dedicated to help improve and develop goalkeepers of all standards and abilities in a fun, safe and challenging environment. Our sessions cover the main techniques and skills of goalkeeping; Goalkeeping specific warm-ups, handling, footwork, diving, shot stopping, 1 v 1s, crossing, dealing with the back pass, distribution and much more.

We are looking to add to our staff and are looking for people with the following criteria:

Minimum FA/UEFA Level 2 valid coaching award.
Ability to demonstrate appropriate technique and skill development practices.
Ability to enthuse and communicate with children and adults in a positive learning environment.
Energy and enthusiasm and a proactive style.
Ability to work on one’s own initiative and plan own workload.
Willingness to work unsocial working hours.
Passion for football and coaching.
